Dunedin Biorepository
Research that is done at Otago University is world class. The Dunedin study (which has been going for nearly 40 years) has followed 1037 babies born in Dunedin, New Zealand between 1 April 1972 and 31 March 1973 at the Queen Mary Maternity Hospital. These studies provide unprecedented and ground-breaking information that influence family, child and public health policies overseas and in New Zealand.
This is Dee Yang she is responsible for the management, maintenance and security of the Dunedin Study Biorepository during the age 38 assessment phase. She has been studying and working in New Zealand for seven years, since commencing her studies for her BSc in biochemistry at the University of Otago in 2003.
