Buddhist monk attacked

My thoughts are with Master Thich Phuoc An. (Pictured here in Dunedin attending the Dalai Lama visit). After his brutal attack in south Auckland on Friday night.

The Buddhist master hasn’t been back to his temple since he was savagely attacked by three men who left him handcuffed with severe bleeding, bruising and a broken arm.

His attackers wanted money, so he gave them all he could – coins from the donation box. He is struggling with what has happen but will be returning home soon.
