Orwellian Future for NZ?
Thousands have marched in New Zealand wide rallies against the GCSB spying bill with marches taking place in 11 cities. I was in Dunedin.
The controversial Government Communications Security Bureau Amendment Bill and other related changes will expand the legal power of the GCSB to spy upon New Zealanders.

July 30, 2013These are great photos, Michael. As one of my friends, now living in Wellington, said: “Beautiful photos, they show Dunedin in all its dark, angry, Gothic glory” but I also esp love your pics of the youths having a good time. They are great photos.

July 31, 2013Thanks for your comment Andrew. I think shooting in B/W kind of gives them that edge. Each New Zealand government seem to be doing their level best to destroy any good social policy we have. I expect bigger gatherings around NZ in the next few years. We really need strong a voice for the people. I’m a Socialist at heart and will always direct my photography in that direction.
