Go Home Shell Oil
A public demonstration in the Octagon spotlighting an invitation-only ”no media, meeting.” in Dunedin, New Zealand.
Oil Free Otago spokeswoman Rosemary Penwarden said, this meeting would allow Shell to bring interested groups together to ”gain support for their drilling agenda”, rather than an open and transparent meeting for the public to engage.
They aimed to make it clear to Shell that they are not welcome to drill off Otago coasts under any circumstances. Protesters from Oil Free Otago entered the meeting about midday. Shutting it down. Shell said this was for safety reasons.

April 29, 2013I don’t know why I can no longer see your photos on this site. Haven’t been able to for the last two events, though I could for the one prior. Must be some incompatability with my browser?
Just thought you should know, cos if I cant see them maybe others can’t either…
