Photography has always been used to showcase what scientists do by translating complex knowledge from the laboratory to real-life applications, thus narrowing down the distance between academia and society. Also with the huge uptake of social media such as Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram & Facebook great pictures are becoming a valuable mechanism to communicate science stories and ideas to the world.
With my combined background in medical photography, graphic design, and commercial photography, I hope to make a meaningful contribution to the field of visual science communication. I enjoy working with scientists and technologists and I’m fascinated by the field. I see it as a challenge to create images that effectively support the communication of science and technology.
